The villa Casale della Torre, this fabulous farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany has a fantastic panoramic view of the valley Valdichiana, Lake Trasimeno and Palazzone tower. And with this view you can enjoy from private infinity pool under the Tuscan sun. This beautiful property is also located in the immediate vicinity of Cortona (a beautiful Etruscan town in the province of Arezzo) and can be reached on foot via a pedestrian path that is illuminated and closed to traffic (walking distance only 1,5 km away). The oldest part of the house dates from 1400. In the past, it was a windmill to grind grain coming from the countryside all around Cortona. It was part of the land holdings called Palazzone whose owners were noblemen from Cortona. It has been completely renovated while maintaining its original architectural features: it has a rustic Tuscan style typical of a country farmhouse in Tuscany (exposed beams, terracotta floors, use of wood and local stone). Inside, this beautiful holiday rental home has air conditioning, wi-fi, appliances and common areas.
It gives you the opportunity to spend your holiday time in touch with nature, but also near the most interesting sites of an Etruscan city. This 8 hectares of land are in the middle of hills, olive trees, woods and gardens, which are looked after by the owners, wonderful people. The colors change with the seasons: the green of spring, the yellow of the grain in summer, the red of autumn and the white of the snow in winter. Guests can spend their time looking at the unforgettable sunsets.
The property consists of 2 stone houses not far from each other that are rented together to accommodate a single group of friends or family. A panoramic solarium equipped with sun loungers will be a perfect place to spend long hours under the Tuscan sun and to relax.

The two units are not connected internally.
On one side you can walk along Parterre and go out into the center of the old city. In the other direction, you can admire beautiful villas such as Bramasole, the home of famous author Frances Mayes. Also, in less than 20 minutes, you will arrive at Torreone, an old suburb under a medieval fortress called Girifalco. The strategic position of Casale della Torre allows guests to explore both Tuscany and nearby Umbria: from here you can easily set off to visit renowned locations such as Siena, Arezzo, Castiglion Fiorentino, Chianti Classico, Lake Trasimeno, Val d’Orcia, Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio.
